Iris Aura privacy policy

Iris Aura is an entertainment app for ages 13+. It does not perform medical, psychological or biometric diagnosis.

The user selects or takes a photo, which is processed locally on the device for the colour palette and artistic presentation. Camera JPEGs are temporarily written to the app cache. When an aura is saved, the selected iris crop is stored in the app as a PNG up to 1024 pixels on its longest side. The app does not upload photos to its own server or send them to advertising services.

Local data may include a nickname, playful archetype, five scores, palette, visual seed, date and selected iris crop. An account, contacts, location, real name and device identifiers are not required for the profile. Deleting a profile deletes its PNG; clearing data in settings deletes profiles, settings and saved PNGs. Temporary camera JPEGs remain in the cache until it is cleared. Android system backup is enabled and is managed through device settings.

In debug builds, Google Mobile Ads uses official test identifiers. UMP may request advertising consent required in your region. The advertising module is not given photos, answers, palette, archetype, name or compatibility results. Core features work without a network connection or ads.

When sharing, the app creates a temporary PNG in its cache and provides a temporary content:// URI to the app selected by the user. Sharing never happens automatically.

Advertising services

Local photo processing does not rule out network requests from the advertising SDK. Google Mobile Ads may process IP addresses, app and ad interaction information, diagnostics and advertising or other device identifiers for advertising, analytics and fraud prevention. The data depends on SDK settings and available identifiers. The app does not send photos or quiz answers to these services.

This website

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It has no photo upload forms or separately installed analytics. When you visit, Cloudflare infrastructure may process technical information, including IP addresses and request data, to deliver the website and protect the network.
